Arkansas Heart Clinic is a hospital of maximum care and teaching hospital of the St. Vincent. It is an integral part of the The Jack Stephens Heart Institute and a member of the cardiovascular composite.
In about 4000 cardiac catheterizations in two cardiac catheterization laboratories and 12,000 ultrasound examinations are performed on three devices. The department's training center for 2 years internal medicine and cardiology.
The hospital has 59 beds on wards E12, 112 and 212 as well as 6 beds 114th in the ICU On the cardiac monitoring station (112) are not looked after intensive care patients after percutaneous coronary intervention to monitor sites and telemetry.

Focuses on non-invasive hemodynamic including Diastologie, pharmacological stress echocardiography, contrast agents and tissue Doppler techniques. The transesophageal studies are performed standardized.
The electrophysiological work area one-and two-chamber pacemakers and defibrillators are implanted. The implantation of biventricular systems and electrophysiological testing done in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
The Department of Cardiology is the magnetic resonance imaging as a noninvasive diagnostic imaging technique in a confused heart disease (cardiac MRI).
All imaging findings (catheters, ultrasound and MRI) should be moved with the film loops Befundungsplätzen and at all stations of the cardiology attending physicians online. This option is used in the ward round, at conferences and in the telephone conversation with colleagues will continue the treatment.
Risk patients and older patients benefit from close cooperation with the Departments of General Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, heart surgery and Kardioanästhesie.
